With a Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solution such as NetOS® in place, an efficient Smart City model might be seen as a network of sub-networks, where the whole city-wide infrastructure can be combined with Network Splicing® into an aggregated single virtual network, viewed and monitored through a single console, and monitored and re-configured on demand.
