Zeetta Networks successfully delivered sliced 5G networks in the UK Government’s 5G Smart Tourism & 5G RuralFirst projects.
5G Smart Tourism Extension (5G-STX)
Zeetta Networks led the trial at Bristol Harbour Festival 2019. 360-degree cameras streamed live HD content showing how 5G networks can scale and operate in the hyper-congested conditions of a cultural event. Nearly 800 people concurrently used the service.
Zeetta Networks demonstrated the ability to slice the network infrastructure to create three slices – Public Safety, Retail and Video Streaming.
5G Smart Tourism Trial
Zeetta Networks was a key technical partner in the Department of Culture Media & Sport (DCMS) 5G Trials and Testbeds 5G Smart Tourism project led by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA).
Zeetta Networks used NetOS® software to control and “slice” the 5G test network including for the Augmented Reality (AR) “Window in time” application at the Roman Baths in Bath, UK.
5G Dynamic Network Slicing Video
Network Slicing and Network Splicing®, the ability to share and combine different network infrastructures, will be a key driver for new 5G revenue streams.
Zeetta Networks is leading the approach to dynamic end-to-end network slicing.
