Zeetta Networks are delighted to be presenting at CW’s Reality Check for SDN event

This is part of the Total Telecoms Congress at the London Design Centre on 29-30 Oct 2019.

The event is focused on understanding how software-defined networking (SDN) has been deployed and is being used today.

Software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN) is probably the most common use case but Zeetta has been focused on the use of software-defined networking in local area networks  (SD-LAN).

In the keynote Zeetta intends to demonstrate how SDN can be used to:

  • Automatically pre-provision devices so they become “plug n’ play”
  • Create a new service across LAN, Wi-Fi and Private LTE
  • Automatically compute network paths so only service end-points need defining
  • Automatically remove expired configurations which impair network stability

To really prove the utility of the SDN will demonstrate how non-experts can carry out complex network configuration tasks in a fraction of the time a highly skilled and certified user could.

The aim will be to show how SDN can significantly reduce operational costs, improve business agility and improve network stability.

To get a flavour of the power of SDN watch this short video that shows how an untrained user carried out a complex task in 92% less time than an advanced user…with time to get a cup of coffee.
