Board

Executive Chairman

Michael Dimelow

A globally connected technology investor and corporate development executive, with over 25 years of experience leading the commercial development of two of the UK’s most progressive technology businesses; having most recently co-founded Accelerated Digital Ventures (ADV), deploying over £85m throughout the UK and selling my founders stake to L&G Capital in July 2020.

Philosophically Michael believes that a balance of business building, corporate development and investment expertise are crucial to deliver sustainable alpha to LP investors in the most de-risked manner possible. The challenge when investing in venture, as an asset class, is to be systematic about how you screen opportunities at scale and then select the most likely winners with minimum bias.

Michael cares passionately about working with ambitious founders who have sight of industry defining product opportunities underpinned by deep science and technology.

Director

Bruce Beckloff

Bruce understands the concept of creating customer pull rather than relying on technology push after spending 12 years at ARM, masters in this field. He employs the same strategy at Bloc and with its investments by bringing in larger industry players, including Bloc shareholders, to work with our partner companies. He is instrumental in helping Bloc’s partner companies align their strategies to scale commercially and quickly. Bruce’s tech expertise and commercial acumen led him to own the overall corporate strategy for ARM and, as part of this, create ARM’s investment activity. He was named one of the most influential CVCs in the Global Corporate Venturing Powerlist 100.
