We are delighted to announce that Zeetta Networks has been shortlisted for a Glotel Award 2018, in recognition of our pioneering work in the field of 5G network slicing and service provisioning.

Zeetta Networks has been paving the way towards a 5G future for some time now, and recently provided the technology behind the Layered Realities 5G Showcase, a global first, in partnership with Watershed and University of Bristol’s Smart Internet Lab. The fully immersive series of events exhibited the increasing applications of 5G technology in people’s everyday lives.

The Global Telecom Award scheme is now in its 6th year, and recognises innovation from any company involved in advancing and transforming today’s telecoms industry. For Zeetta Networks, this means our advanced NetOS® software becomes particularly relevant, as it is enabling the creation of smarter networks that allow fully customised connectivity by service providers and end users. NetOS® is unique, offering an open API environment where third parties can develop their own network service applications. Its generic support framework can also support white-label network devices, enabling users to pick the devices and technologies they want to work with. No other platform gives users the same degree of freedom in building, extending, or managing their networks, and NetOS® can support legacy infrastructure, refresh, or green field infrastructure investments.

We have our fingers crossed that we will be fortunate enough to win the ‘Advancing the Road to 5G’ Award in November. So watch this space and follow us on Twitter or LinkedIn.
