Five of the Zeetta Networks team will be heading over to Barcelona next week to attend Mobile World Congress – and as we have already been nominated for a GLOMO, and invited to contribute to a roundtable on virtualisation, they have much to look forward to! We caught up with two of them, Nathan Sowatskey and James Hill, to chat about their expectations and excitement for the big event.

What are you most excited to discover at Mobile World Congress?

Nathan: The scope of 5G business opportunities: this is truly a global challenge and only at an event like Mobile World Congress can you easily meet with so many other innovators.

James: Every year that I’ve been to Mobile World Congress, it gets better, so I’ll be interested to see what has changed this year!

Is there a particular stand/company that you most want to visit?

Nathan: It will be good to catch up with Facebook and TIP, after being awarded a place in the TEAC scheme last October, to discuss the advances that we have all been making.

Zeetta Networks is part of the TEAC stand at Mobile World Congress this year – what does that mean to you?

James: Being a part of the stand on Tuesday 27th February not only means that we can reconnect with other partners, but it is a great opportunity to maximise the opportunities to discuss NetOS®.

What can people expect when they visit the Zeetta Networks stand?

Nathan: A compelling demonstration of Zeetta Networks’ NetOS® technology. It really has to be seen to be believed, and we’re thrilled to have the chance to demo it at our stand.

James: We have a truly holistic vision for network slicing, and we are excited to show that vision.

What does being nominated for a GLOMO award mean for you?

Nathan: It is a welcome recognition of our efforts! Network software delivers meaningful value to infrastructures, but many areas of the industry are behind, so to have this recognition of the work that we’ve delivered and are delivering is encouraging.

Which speaker/presentation are you most looking forward to?

Nathan: I think I will be far too busy talking to customers and partners at our own stand to attend many presentations, more’s the pity!

James: I am looking forward to hearing Telefonica, but I think there’ll also be an element of seeing how we feel on the day, and discovering who is getting the most buzz.

How is Zeetta Networks’ attendance this year different from last year?

Nathan: Our product is much more advanced and comprehensive – it is incredible what difference a year makes in research and development.

James: All of us have been looking forward to returning to Mobile World Congress, and I’m sure it’s going to exceed all our expectation.

The Zeetta Networks team looks forward to catching up with you at MWC18. For more information about virtualisation and the applications of our NetOS® technology, come and see us at stand 7B13.
