Our CEO, Vassilis Seferidis, has been invited to participate in one of the “Future Networks Virtualisation” Roundtable Meetings held in parallel to the main Mobile World Congress (MWC18) events. This request further consolidates our reputation as a leading expert on network virtualisation and follows our nomination for a prestigious GLOMO Award at MWC18 in recognition of our NetOS® platform.

These invitation-only forums are used as catalysts to define the industry’s strategy to navigate the challenges and opportunities of new technologies. The Future Networks Virtualisation Roundtable will explore the theme of collaborative action for widening the mobile virtual infrastructure ecosystem. This will include the role of standards, business models, licensing, as well as cooperation and competition with big vendors.

Vassilis shared: “Our journey the last twelve months has been amazing. Since March of 2017, we have started several new 5G projects, secured further investment, deployed NetOS® at the 30,000-seat Ashton Gate Stadium, and we have been chosen for PwC’s Scale programme in the South West. I look forward to share some of our deployment experience and the insights that we have gained through these experiences at the roundtable.”

Zeetta Networks has been chosen to join the debate as our technology sits at the heart of these pressing issues on the journey to commercial 5G. Our network operating software, NetOS®, is designed to manage networks to support multiple tenancies, vendors, and technologies with varying requirements to improve effectiveness.

In recognition of our work on virtualisation and our NetOS® platform, Zeetta Networks is proud to have received a nomination for Best Network Software Breakthrough GLOMO Award at MWC18.  NetOS® transforms 5G networks into a “sliceable” programmable platform, where each slice can be managed and configured by the users securely. This opens up opportunities for the network infrastructure to operate more efficiently, which is critical with the coming of smart cities and smart venues.

The invitation-only roundtable will be held on Tuesday 27th February at MWC18. You can find out more about the event here.

The Zeetta Networks team looks forward to catching up with you at MWC18. For more information about virtualisation and the applications of our NetOS® technology, come and see us at stand 7B13.
